Servant Class: Rider. { Subclass: Assassin. Alternate Class: Berserker }
Contracted or Feral: Feral

Base of Legend:
Legends started location: Ireland.
Place Legend took off: First Ireland then America.

Origin: Revenge: They say that Hell has no fury like a woman scorned, Well this be the very case. Gaelige was betrayed by those who she trusted her life to, the very men she fought with on the battle ground had condemned her had framed her for the murder of her husband, she was given the punishment of death by decapitation. From this betrayal she grew vengeful and took up her axe, binding herself to the earth in order to hunt down and erase the men who framed hert. This however, did not stop when she just killed the men, she started hunting down their families as well.

Physical Appearance:

Civilian clothing: “ Am i not at least a rose? “

Gaelige wears a pitch black v neck t-shirt, with a long sleeve jacket that is buttoned at the bottom. Blue ankle long jeans with chains attaching from her front pockets to the back pockets. She vastly prefers wearing this clothing due to a few personal reasons, a few of them are kept highly secretive that only she trusts her master to know about, others being open to the public to know if they ask.

She prefers to wear that simply for the fact that it looks good on her, she was so used to wearing peasant clothing when she was young and well alive. Yet she prefers this over her wearing her armor mostly for two reasons: One being that she can now fit in with the other people around her instead of looking like some form of monster that she was so used to people running from her and two being that its comfy as all hell, it does not make her have to scratch anywhere from wool.

While working as a sword seller with Onin, she wears a Shrine maiden outfit that loosely shows off her upper cleavage but keeps everything else perfectly hidden. Her hair is braided so well that she lets it rest on her left shoulder.

                                               The Monster Who Rides.

“Course, every rose has a thorn~ And my thorn is quite destructive”

Horseman armor:
Gaelige is covered from her chin down in thick black plate armor that gives her a form of eerie aura. Her Torso platting imitates that of a angry demon with its mouth fully open in a yell of rage as her shoulder plates imitate that of two curved blades going up and to the opposite sides of each other. Her arms from the shoulder down look demonic in appearance, the fingers are pointed at the tip to look like claws while a single curved yet small sized blade sticks out from her elbow.

From the waist down shes wears a battle skirt, a piece of armor that sticks out from her waist acting as a form of metallic cape that shows off the front part of her legs as well as protects the back of her legs, this piece can move for comfort when riding a mount. For the metal leggings of her armor it is the same theme as her gauntlets and arms, the only difference is there is a single spike on her knees as well as the metal boots she wears has a pointed up and curved toe. She does not wear a helmet for obvious reasons as her head is not needing protection.

In this form, she weighs over four hundred pounds, as the entire suit of armor is quite heavy. In this form she has red blood if she were to be wounded. The only thing that makes this form look more terrifying than it already does is the fact that she has no head instead her head either rests inside the mouth of the chest piece while being heavily guarded by the armor, or rests on the saddle of her horse when shes riding it.

Horsemans Weapon of choice:

She carries around a larger than life one handed war axe called “ Head Hunter”. The handle is a grip with two four way spikes as the guard and as the butt of the weapon with a handguard that is very similar to a rapiers. From the guard extends a 4 foot long metal tube that helps balance the weight of the weapon, at the top is a screaming metal skull with a blade sticking out of its mouth, the skull always faces her. The blade is a large 4 feet long curved and semi thin, semi bulky piece of sharp metal that is sharper and thinner near the edge.

                                The Mental Build.

Virtues

“ Whats good about me? Oh who knows….maybe my good personality?”

Brave
Gaelige is always ready for battle, always willing to fight with those who most likely are more powerful than herself. She always leads by example in a fight, always willing to get wounded in order to show her bravery while fighting someone who shes never beaten before.
Cautionary
In her life, she was a cautionary fighter, she always wanted to fight among the others and keep them safe. Choosing the best route for her men to go while trying to come up with plans on how to surprise the enemy. Doing all of that has helped her become a wonderful adviser of a sorts, always giving advice to those who ask for caution.
Empathic
Growing up in the life of a peasant, she has grown used to seeing the poor and the weak, she has gone through it all from birth till knighthood. Due to this, she will help anyone who needs it even if they don't ask for it, even if they refuse to let her help. She just can not keep herself in peace when she spots someone who is having a hard time, but does not like those who would take advantage of the weak and the poor.
Flexible.
Depending on the event she is in, or the specific time she can adapt to her surroundings. When it comes to a fight, she can try to change up her attack patterns in order to surprise the enemy and take advantage of its weakness. In a more social and less blade to blade action, she is very flexible with how people want to see her or demand from her, as long as its nothing she does not want to do or even talk about.
Honest
Gaelige hates liars, she grew up as a peasant where she would have to fend against liars and cheaters and those who would take advantage of her. She despises them and so she vowed to herself that she would never lie to someone if its something major. She will however only lie in case it is to save someone from pain or suffering of any kind.
Loyal
For those who prove their kindness towards Gaelige, for those who are right of heart and yet will not get in her way when it comes to her bloody business. Those people gain her loyalty, for when they eventually need her, she will come riding her horse and slay the enemies of those who deserved her loyalty.

Vices:

“Whats wrong with me? Oh like you could understand “

Sadistic
For those who have crossed her or met her on the battlefield, for those who survived such a event, they know the cruelty of the Headless Horsewoman. For she will take every delight in tearing her targets and enemies apart piece by piece. For those who are with her, they may become scared of her, for those against her that live; they may get endless nightmares.
Vengeful
For those who have been double crossing her and for those who have already betrayed her, she will hunt them down without sleep. She will make them panic at every sound they hear, for she will track them down with the wrath of a scorned woman. Most victims disappear after a few weeks of her tracking them, some just barely survive long enough to die in a hospital. Others…. are not so lucky, for their corpses are laid for the public to see, with a head missing from their neck.
Sarcastic
For those who appear to get along with her and occasionally are in a nice friendly drink with her, they notice shes the playful and yet sarcastic type. Always sounding like she does not believe the person as they tell their tales, always rubbing it off as just another story. For she does not act with kindness, but who would when the person telling the story is saying the story of what happened to one of your little ex targets?
Impatient
When a woman who was scorned by men would want to hunt them down and kill them in the brutal of ways, you would think they would be patient. No, Not Gaelige for she will track down one target and grab them from where ever they are only to chop off their head and leave. After killing a target, she would move on to the next one, so many to kill and she has so limited time.
Wrathful
When you anger a lady, they tend to be a bit upset, yet Gaelige is the literal person to represent “ Hells Wrath “. For she has yet to give up on her revenge list, she has killed so many lives both men and women that she has claimed a endless amount of female and male lives, some of them were even children by accident. Course, when you traumatize them using a axe death is something they beg to happen.

                                                Scorned Wish

“ My wish? …. Sorry its not a wish that should be heard out loud “

Wish Desired: To get her revenge on all of those who are related to those who have wronged her, all the families of the men who betrayed her. All of the men she may meet in the present to die, she only wants one thing and that it to see those who have wronged her to perish into deaths embrace. All of the women of those families to suffer greatly for what their ancestors have done to her, to take away their right to hold their heads up high. As well as terrorize their children, to traumatize them in such a way that they will never wrong anyone like their ancestors have. For that alone her wish is simply “ Revenge “

                         The Betrayed’s Wrath

“Im nothing too special, yet that does not mean i dont have a trump card or two~”

Noble Phantasms:

Nightmare Hunting
Nightmare Hunting is Gaelige’s Primary Noble Phantasm, When activated it, a whistling sound would be heard from Gaelige’s armor. This in turn would summon pitch black and flaming from the eyes, hoofs, mane and tail Night-mare, the horse itself would be the rumored horse of the Horseman of Death. When the Horse arrives, galloping right next to its summoner and stopping to allow her to get on, the victim is then trapped in a endless forest covered in deep ever-lasting fog. The only noises the victim would hear is the sound of the horses hooves as it makes its way to them with its blood-lusting and head chopping master on its back riding it.

Blood of the Immortal
They say the one who rides the mighty horse of death is given the power of death itself, sadly the rumors were false, But it does help one understand Death and Life. For Gaelige it told her how to stay in between life and death, a form of life that not very many beings are capable of doing. This is Gaeliges second Noble Phantasm that acts more like a passive effect. Death is something that does not come to a force of nature, as such all wounds that Gaelige would receive would immediately start healing. When it is activated, a dark shadow aura forms around Gaelige that starts reversing her wounds, making as though the wound never had existed in the first place.

Appearence: When this is activated while Gaelige is in her non combat appearance, her bodies flesh goes white and becomes see through, any wound that is dealt to her appears black on her skin. As time flows on, her wound heals up by decreasing in size over time. When this is activated when she is in her combat form, a white fog forms out of her armor from all open spaces. This Fog lasts for a short few seconds before fading, after which her blood from that point on turns snow white in appearance and rapidly regenerates by re-flowing back into her body while the wound closes up.

                                             My Story of Ruin

“ My story? Well alright, but sit down cause its gonna be a long one”

The Begining:

Age 0: Even when she was not born, she was told to be a fighting young gal by her mother and father. She is the child of a irish soldier and a irish female farmer, but life did not want to give her a good life, not one of comfortable living. No it wanted to make her suffer to release the world she lived in, for that to happen her father had been killed in battle and her mother was forced to work as a “Special” Woman who helped men “Relax”. She had been doing this job during her pregnancy with Gaelige and after her pregnancy with Gaelige. Before Gaelige’s first birthday, her mother had helped dozens of men “ Relax “ and soon after was pregnant with one of their children.

Age 1: At age one Gaelige had a pregnant mother who was using her body in order to pay for food and a roof for little Gaelige and a little sibling, yet before the little sibling was born it was killed by unknown means. In reality it died cause she could not get enough food into herself to sustain both of them. This put her mother as a “Special “ and severely depressed woman who longed for Gaelige to grow up and help her out.

Age 2: At her second year of life in the world of hellish fights and danger that filled every corner, she was already showing the bravery that her father had passed down to her. She stared at a snake that had slithered its ways into her home and before long it slid onto the the little girl, reading a strike to kill her and before it could. She had grabbed it by the head and accidently pulled on its tail too much which ended with her pulling its head off.

Age 3: She had proven to be just as intelligent as her dead father had claimed, for she solved a very simple puzzle that no other child had yet to figure out on how to solve it. For what took a normal child around four years to figure out how to use this puzzle, for they were seven years old at the time. For Gaelige, it took her a few minutes. For she could easily work on it and figure out how to put it together.

Age 7: For the time, Gaelige was in her early kid years around seven. Around this time, she had learned to adapt to her inherited cunning from her father for by this time the unpure had tried to use her. The Thieves, the liars, the trickers and the cheaters, they all have tried to con little Gaelige out of her money, the money that was given to her to go buy food. Gaelige, however had yet to be fooled by them as she avoided them with ease, for she knew better than to let anyone to trick her.

Age 8: At a young kid age, Gaelige was already showing the natural born instincts of a soldier, of a killer and of a hunter. For when they could not afford to buy food or clothing, she would go out and take a knife and use her knife and wits to catch deers and other animals. For that saying she was proving to be everything her mother had hoped for her to be a young strong, capable of surviving on her own, woman.

Age 10: Gaelige at this age was already secretly training to be a soldier, for she wanted to be like her father. A father she dreamed of as a young child while her mother had told her stories of him as bed night stories to keep her sleeping calm. She had begun to use a wooden stick to train and used the trees that were around her as well as the walls as training dummies, due to this she broke lots of sticks during her training sessions.

Age 13: After using non-stop training and hunting to prepare herself for battle as well to feed her mother and herself. Her mother had began to prep her for marriage, by trying to teach her how to be more of a woman instead of a man or a soldier. Not to say it, but things did not go well for her mother as at every attempt she had Gaelige had managed to avoid the grooming into becoming a woman, for she longed to be a soldier. Nothing more and nothing else, it was her dream to carry on her father's career so grooming was out of the question.

Age 14: At this point, she had allowed her mother to groom her, but only if she were to be allowed to train in her free time. At this time, she agreed and allowed her daughter to continue training in order to keep herself the way she wants, as well as learning how to be more feminine. The grooming was spending some of their money on a form of herb that allowed a woman to grow out their bust, this took quite a effect on her as it made her chest large enough to make out that shes female.

Age 16: For two years she had been groomed and had started training in order to keep herself in a fit state, while looking good for any men who wished to court her. When her mother had came to her saying that it was time for a husband, she put one condition on it if she were to be married. The condition was that any man who could beat her one on one in hand to hand combat would be allowed to marry her. None the less, no one had succeeded in defeating her in combat and thus she remained without a husband.

Age 18: At the most important year of her life, she was greeted by a high ranking soldier that turned out to be a commander of one of the King’s armies. He had heard of her condition for marriage and decided to take her up on it. When she heard this she thought he was going to just be another weakling compared to her and accepted his proposal if he could beat her as per her condition. Sure enough, he defeated her in hand to hand combat fairly so she acknowledged him and agreed to become his bride.

Age 20: The engagement lasted well over three months before they got married, during this time she got to know her future husband and learned to care about him and his views. Course they spent a good portion of their honeymoon doing things that should be obvious, yet when they returned Gaelige had signed herself up to be in the army. Much to her mothers surprise, yet she and her newlywed husband had agreed upon her serving alongside him.

Age 22: For two years, Gaelige had spent training along side her husband, for she quickly wished to join him in ranks and on the battlefield. They trained through multiple ways to improve their combat abilities and overall physical shape, yet she soon found out that what she was training with was going to be much more terrifying and much more dangerous than what she used to train. Instead of sticks, they used real swords so of course every here and there one of them got cut. Instead of wearing heavy cloth clothing and running, they wore the heavy armor and ran around a forest, this had improved her speed and capabilities of running with heavy armor as well as dodging with it.

Age 26: Four years had passed, Gaelige and her husband had quickly proved to be a power couple in the battlefield as well as out of it. The two of them always sticking together, back to back in the field of battle as well as when they spotted corrupted Soldiers stealing money from the poor.  They were nearly untouchable, In the battlefield they were known as the “ Irish Twin Demons” For their brutality and pure power of their attacks upon their mortal foes. Her husband wielding a sword and shield, while Gaelige herself had only used a simple one handed war axe. Their fights had saved many people, while condemning tons more, but none the less they were considered “ Heroes” of their land.

Age 28: But when all things were going good, the two were deciding upon whether they should bear a kid, course that would come with the cost of Gaelige’s knighthood. This was a heavy problem with their relationship, the two of them had never came to a settled answer. This was due to a pair of jealous of Soldiers who served with the two, course the soldiers were corrupt and they were sick and tired of their friends and illegal friends being ratted on. So they devised a plan, When Gaelige went out to go drinking one night, They walked in and took her axe and attacked and killed her husband before he could even learn who attacked him. Later that night, while Gaelige was having problems getting drunk, some of the guards came into the bar and arrested her for Murder of her husband.

Age 29: A year had passed, She was broken and battered, torn over her loss of her husband: For she was broken. One day she was taken from her cell and dragged to the Gallows, normally a place for hangings although this time it was used for public execution: Gaelige’s execution. When the Executioner had brought Gaelige to her knees before the chopping board, out of the corner of her eyes did she see the men who killed her husband, laughing to themselves and grinning at her. Only then did she show any emotion after being imprisoned for she yelled at the men, cursing at them in Irish before putting a curse on them.

“ May the Devil have my soul, but allow me to take my vengeance on all those you care for! Your Wives and children will pay for your betrayal! “

Not too long after, she was killed via decapitation with a axe to the neck.

Revenge Starts: Roughly twenty years later, the rumors of men going missing and their wives and children's heads being cut off clean from their bodies had started becoming more and more famous. For Gaelige’s curse had technically worked, she was revived as an earth-bound spirit, ever roaming the world to curse the families of the men who betrayed her, as well as any who got in her way.

Other forms of Legend: The Dullahan and Sleepy Hollow’s Headless Horseman.

Dullahan Legend: A Fairy of Death, A woman dressed in black armor carrying her head under her arms. Her role in the spiritual world was to go and kill the person whose name popped up in her spiritual list of duties. For she was the Reapers tool, she reaped the souls of all those whose name had appeared, as well as the souls of those who saw her in the act.

Headless Horseman Legend: A Terror formed the civil war, a man who was killed was buried under a tree. Only for his head to be stolen from his grave, just his head and nothing else. For this angered the spirit of the man, He had now risen to find his lost skull as well as slay the woman or man who had stolen it from him. Course he was perfectly fine with killing the innocent as well, because he had no clue who had his skull.

Roleplay Sample:
There she was, resting against a light pole for she had no idea where she was in the world. The time period was the year 2015, everything was foreign to her, The lights and music. The busy cars passing by street by street, the clothing on the civilians backs, all of it was odd and unknown to her, for she had been what she could only assume as sleeping for years. She only shook her head and did not understand what was going on and where she was, but she knew one thing, one thing entirely.

She had to begin her hunt once more, for she felt that the families of those who had betrayed her all those years ago, are still living and breathing just fine. This angered her, to know that the families of the cruel and wicked had strived to live this long, course she had no idea what year it was exactly. But to her, it did not matter for she was in the mood, she was feeling the desire to kill was starting to rise uncontrollably like how it did all those years ago.

She.

“Time to hunt….. “

A hunt, a bloody, bloody hunt.

Gaelige Barron { Rider } {Complete} Empty Re: Gaelige Barron { Rider } {Complete}

Post by Doc Holliday Mon Feb 09, 2015 4:04 am

How's it goin' Gaelige? Despite you knowing who I am, I'm going to go ahead and introduce myself anyway.~

I'm Doc Holliday, one of the current Admins here on Fate/Exodus and I'll be handling your Review today. Best if luck to you!

Creativity ~ 300/300

I'm overall pretty pleased with the character as a whole. You took what was one could hardly even call and legend, and breathed an all new life into it. As a character that is wholly original, and not a rehash of some famous historical person, I think you've done exceptionally well here. Good job.

Introduction & Physical Description ~ 250/400

While you manage to give us the absolute basics, I fear you've managed to do so in a completely bland and lackluster way. You've done very little in the way of painting a picture of your character, and hardly more than giving us a bare bones description. Worst yet, I feel as though you didn't give her description much thought at all. I would have liked to have seen a little extra information and effort made here.

You did, however, do an excellent job with the Origin. So, bravo.

Mentality Section ~ 300/400

I don't honestly have much to say here. You've delivered more than the essentials, and rounded out a pretty decent personality. Aside from improving your writing ability as a whole, and with it your vocabulary, I don't think there's much else you could have done with this section. Perhaps added in a little extra information detailing any quirks or habits she has, or possibly even a few hobbies and/or likes/dislikes.

Regardless. I applaud you already going above and beyond what we asked for.

Power Section ~ 200/300

Nothing to really add here. You filled out the section as requested, and explained the information thoroughly enough.

Well done.

History & RP Sample ~ 300/600

This is probably your weakest section. Your wording takes a nosedive, and becomes incredibly choppy. Sure, like all of the above sections you provided us with what was asked of you but I feel as if this was incredibly rushed. Your early childhood sections are rather generic, and probably the most wasteful bits of information in the entirety of the section. Rather than head each section off with random ages, I would have preferred to have seen this done entirely in storyboard form.

Despite your short comings in particular areas, you still manage to provide us with an intriguing enough character that I think will do well here. My main advice to you is: Consider setting a particular mood with characters; Gaelige, I believe, would have been very well served with a darker, more gritty sort of mood. If that makes any sense at all.

Overall Score ~ 1350/2000 + 150 Additional as the Sites first official Rider Class character.

Congratulations on your score of 1500.
