Threads and Fate Points

On Fate Exodus, throughout all the events that might happen, there is an underlying currency that is earned both IC and OOC. This currency is simply known as "Fate Points", or FP for short. This is what people use to be able to buy higher ranks in skills or more Stat Points to develop their character, and a certain amount is given out during character creation. There are three types of FP that is added together to make your total:

App Points | This is the amount that you're given at character creation, and entirely depends on the quality of your app.
Reward Points | Did you participate in a site event? Have you helped the site out by posting adds on other sites? This is the points you get from there.
Advancement Points | This is what is earned throughout your threads, the main type of FP you will be getting on the site.

However there are certain things that you have to take note of when it comes to Advancement Points:

- You get 1 FP per 75 words, rounded down (e.g. a post with 824 words in it will net you 10 FP)
- This is the only one that is used to work out how many FP you keep if your character should die.
- This should be noted at the bottom of every single post you do, just so we can keep on top of it at all times.

Now, on the topic of threads, we have but one request. As there is a lot of blood and gore focused in a truly serious fight within the Fateverse, we request that you post the rating of your thread in the title of said thread.

If there is no ranking, it is to be presumed that it is PG-13. Swearing, drinking, reference to drug use and minor violence at worst.
R - An R-rated thread may include adult themes, focused upon nudity, hard language, intense or persistent violence, sexually-oriented nudity or active drug use.
M - An M-rated thread includes brutal, bloody violence, abberational behavior, frequent drug use or things that most people would consider to be immoral. However, the one stopping point is sex; No sex is allowed on this site in any form, M-rated thread or not.
