Faction | The Clarembault Alliance

As long as there has been Grail Wars, three major families have stood out from among the rank and file, at least one member of it fighting in each one - the Matous, the Einzberns and the Tohsakas. However, with the destruction of Fuyuki, the main branches of the Matous and the Tohsakas have been reduced to the weakened state that the Einzberns have been in since the beginning of the last Grail War. 

Now, these three families have been on weirdly good terms for a long time. The Tohsakas donated heirs to the Matous to make sure that they didn't hit the situation they're now in regardless, and even when competing for something as lucrative as the grail, they have somehow remained dignified and friendly. 

As such, in their weakened state, these three families came together and united to form a party that would work towards the restoration of the great noble names of their families. Suggested by a vassal to the Einzberns called "Arseny Clarembault", the united nobles party has been named as such in his honor, as well as earning his family the noble title they have long since craved. 

Anyone who might assume that this group is simply led by these three for these three would be completely incorrect. Ancient noble families who seek more respect and desire to step out into the spotlight on the world's stage have joined under this clan, making it a hegemony of magic noble families, their servants and anyone who desires to become a noble themselves through service to the families. 

However, unlike the Tenth Crusade who relies on a few very powerful men to lead them, the strength of this group comes from the sheer amount of leaders it has. Platoons under each of the members of the three major houses, and even hiring mercenaries to make up the bulk of their ranks, this group is ever growing and with their size comes extra respect and fear.

The piece of the grail that this group owns is a quarter of the cup, which is currently allegedly being held at the Matou's main house in Japan. Though it's not impossible to get to Japan, to even think about getting through the sheer swarm of hired guards, mages and servants is insanity. Where the Crusade has strength, they have sheer numbers and tenacity.
